On November 12, 2012, the Growth Dialogue co-hosted (along with Columbia University’s Initiative for Policy Dialogue) a Roundtable on Growth, Jobs, and Distribution chaired by Nobel laureate Joseph Stiglitz. The purpose of this roundtable was to bring together academics and practitioners to exchange thoughts on the political economy of policy initiatives that might effectively break the cycle of worsening income inequality in advanced economies, and in-so-doing, provide new insights for other less advanced economies.
