On October 9, 2015, the Growth Dialogue held the Seminar Balancing Sustainable Growth and Social Equity: Lessons from Latin America and East Asia at the World Bank Annual Meetings in Lima, Peru. Danny Leipziger moderated a panel with Ministers of Finance of Colombia and Chile, the Vice Minister of Finance of China, and the Cabinet Secretary of the Philippines, discussing how to promote sustainable growth with social equity in Latin America and East Asia. The focus was on priorities and lessons to be shared between the two regions.
