On October 20-22, 2014, the Growth Dialogue co-hosted (along with the Korea Development Institute) the Seminar on East Asia’s Growth and Development Lessons for Central America in Panama City, Panama. The Seminar aimed to transform Central American countries’ growth prospects by identifying binding constraints of countries in the region on sustainable growth and proposing relevant solutions drawing upon regional and East Asian experience. The Seminar was a space to share Korea’s development experience and its best practices on socio-economic development with Central American countries.
