On September 25, 2013, the Growth Dialogue co-sponsored (along with G-24) the High Level Seminar on New Challenges to Growth and Productivity in Washington, DC. The objective of the seminar was to take stock of the implications of recent economic developments for the growth and productivity prospects of developing countries and discuss policies that would help developing country governments sustain strong growth that is both inclusive and supports job creation, in the face of a more difficult and uncertain global environment. Speakers included Philippe Aghion, Kemal Dervis, and Andres Velasco.
